Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before booking. By confirming your place on any MotoHaven Adventures experience, you agree to be bound by these conditions.
1. About MotoHaven Adventures
MotoHaven Adventures is a trading name of AGF Property Bulgaria Ltd, registered and operating in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. MotoHaven Adventures provides supported motorcycle riding experiences across Europe and the Caucasus. We are not a tour operator and do not hold a tour operator licence. Our experiences are structured as supported, self-guided motorcycle rides with accompanying logistics, route planning and backup support. You are responsible for your own riding decisions at all times.
2. Definitions
"Experience" or "Ride" means any MotoHaven Adventures motorcycle expedition, supported ride or event booked by you. "Participant" or "Rider" means any individual who has booked and been confirmed on an Experience. "We," "Us," "Our" refers to MotoHaven Adventures / AGF Property Bulgaria Ltd. "You," "Your" refers to the Participant or the person making the booking.
3. Booking & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of €500 per person is required to secure your place on any Experience. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 90 days before the departure date. If your booking is made within 90 days of departure, the full amount is due immediately at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking, with the deposit forfeited and no further refund due.
All payments are made in Euros (€) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges apply based on the date we receive your written cancellation notice:

All cancellations must be made in writing to bookings@motohavenadventures.com. The cancellation date is the date on which we receive your written notice.
Important: We strongly recommend that all Participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover, medical expenses, repatriation and personal liability. It is your responsibility to ensure adequate cover is in place before departure.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Us
We reserve the right to cancel, modify or alter any Experience, route, schedule, accommodation or itinerary where circumstances require it — including but not limited to adverse weather, road closures, mechanical issues, safety concerns, insufficient participant numbers or force majeure events.
If we cancel an Experience before departure and are unable to offer a suitable alternative date, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. Our liability in such circumstances is limited to a refund of payments made and does not extend to any consequential losses such as flights, travel arrangements, accommodation or other expenses you may have incurred.
Where we make minor changes to the route or itinerary during an Experience for safety or logistical reasons, no refund will be due.
6. Motorcycle Hire & Equipment
Where a motorcycle is included as part of your Experience, the motorcycle is hired from a rental provider based in Bulgaria under a separate hire agreement governed by Bulgarian contract law. MotoHaven Adventures acts as a facilitator and is not the owner or lessor of the motorcycle.
You are responsible for the motorcycle during the hire period and must treat it with reasonable care. You will be liable for any damage, loss or theft of the motorcycle and equipment during the Experience, subject to the terms of the hire agreement and any excess/deposit arrangements in place.
Panniers, dry bags, tank bags and phone mounts are supplied with each motorcycle. You are responsible for your own personal riding gear.
7. Rider Requirements & Licensing
All Participants must hold a full, valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the class of motorcycle provided, issued by their country of residence or an internationally recognised equivalent. It is your responsibility to ensure your licence is valid in all countries through which the Experience travels.
You must have sufficient riding experience and physical fitness to safely undertake the Experience. The routes may include mountain passes, gravel roads, challenging weather and long days in the saddle. MotoHaven Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation or exclude any rider whose ability, fitness or behaviour poses a risk to themselves or other Participants.
You must carry your driving licence, passport and insurance documents with you at all times during the ride.
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Participants. Your policy must provide adequate cover for motorcycle riding, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, repatriation, personal liability and trip cancellation in all countries visited during the Experience.
It is solely your responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance before departure. MotoHaven Adventures accepts no liability for any costs, losses or expenses arising from inadequate or absent insurance cover. We may request proof of insurance before departure and reserve the right to refuse participation if adequate cover is not in place.
9. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Motorcycle riding is inherently dangerous. By booking an Experience with MotoHaven Adventures, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with motorcycle travel, including but not limited to: road accidents, injury, illness, adverse weather, mechanical failure, wildlife encounters, theft, loss of property and the actions of third parties.
MotoHaven Adventures, its directors, employees, contractors and agents accept no liability whatsoever for any death, personal injury, illness, loss, damage, expense, cost or claim of any nature arising from your participation in an Experience — except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
You ride at your own risk at all times. MotoHaven Adventures provides route guidance, logistical support and a support vehicle, but does not control your riding and is not responsible for your decisions on the road. You are solely responsible for obeying all local traffic laws and regulations in the countries through which the Experience travels.
Our total liability to you in any event shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for the Experience.
10. Health & Fitness
You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, disabilities or dietary requirements at the time of booking. If your health situation changes between booking and departure, you must notify us immediately.
MotoHaven Adventures reserves the right to request a medical clearance letter from your doctor if we have reasonable concerns about your fitness to participate. We reserve the right to exclude any Participant whose health or fitness poses a risk to themselves or others, without refund.
11. Conduct & Behaviour
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner at all times. Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate exclusion from the Experience without refund.
MotoHaven Adventures reserves the right to exclude any Participant whose behaviour is disruptive, dangerous or adversely affects the enjoyment or safety of other riders, without refund or compensation.
12. Media & Photography
MotoHaven Adventures may photograph and film during Experiences for use in marketing materials, social media and promotional content. By participating, you grant permission for your image and likeness to be used in this way without additional compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing before departure at info@motohavenadventures.com.
13. Data Protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your information is used solely for the purposes of administering your booking, communicating about your Experience and fulfilling our legal obligations. We do not share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to deliver the Experience or as required by law.
14. Force Majeure
MotoHaven Adventures shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, border closures, severe weather, road closures, strikes, or any other event constituting force majeure.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or your participation in an Experience shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria.
The motorcycle hire agreement is a separate contract between you and the hire provider, governed by Bulgarian contract law.
